After 1050 hours, I finally made it to the mun and back. Posted: 26 Oct 2019 11:42 AM PDT I know, to most of you this isn't a big deal, but I have a brain injury, and One of my damaged areas is executive function. I can't tell you how many times I failed so close to success. I know in 1000 hours most people would have been to every planet in the system and back, but for me, this was a big deal. No, I don't have pictures, and my ship wasn't that remarkable. I almost died on reentry, but I saved it at the last second, and I even remembered parachutes! (don't ask how many times I have forgotten to attach those only to remember when I was entering the atmosphere.) My kids still call it the yelling game, but I feel like I accomplished something finally! [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Oct 2019 02:11 PM PDT On no other body in the Kerbol system have I thought "fuck I accidentally sent my Kerbal into escape velocity using their EVA pack" or "can the camera stop fucking shifting when I accidentally put my Kerbal into orbit with their EVA pack" or "godamnit I'm falling so slowly I'll point my rocket toward the ground so I can actually arrive sometime within the next 5 minutes." Gilly is wild and if you haven't been there, go there it's an amazing experience. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. [link] [comments]
