Posted: 13 Mar 2021 04:03 PM PST So I went on a mission to Dres to do some science. My Kerbal got out of the capsule but before I could gracefully jetpack to the ground, he fell a long way and got pinned between a couple of tanks. I tried and tried but couldn't get him to move. Finally, I concluded he was dead. The other two kerbals completed the science mission, refueled and headed for home. Sometime after I left the Dres sphere of influence, dead Kerbal came loose and floated free. But I didn't realize that until my spacecraft made it back home. Then I find on the tracking station, a lone Kerbal in orbit around the sun way out by Dres and alive and well! So I stripped down the old nuke ship so it could make it there and back without refueling. And I launched another mission to go rescue my undead Kerbal. Kerbals, they're tougher than you think.
