Kerbal Space Program New Automatic Launch vehicle |
- New Automatic Launch vehicle
- KASA: Cruising on Laythe. I thought I'd try my hand at boats for a change!! Valentina is off for a well-deserved beach vacation.
- PSA: Landing legs are for landing, not for standing. Retract that shit if you plan on staying a while.
- I didn’t have enough delta v to get into orbit, so I just called it a day. Although I just bought ksp under 24 hours ago, so it might be a w
- I ran out of fuel going to Laythe and couldn't aim for any land so I decided not to decouple the heat shield so my probe would stay out of the water. I think it turned out well!
- I tampered with the settings of the HyperEdit mod and got a screenshot worthy Jool System
- Artemis I Trans-Lunar Injection (RSS/RO)
- This is how I pay for my launches now
- Guess I'm glad I got 32GB of ram
- New ksp 2 image of Jool
- Sent a Tesla Roaster to Duna, couldn't make it red though since the parts don't exist in stock however I launched it on a recreation of a Falcon Heavy.
- We are go for landing !
- "Another successful landing"
- A beautiful landing on Duna's north pole with Ike in the background!
- Did a flip!
- My First Successful Satellite Launch
- I Just Did My First Docking! (Lowne Lazy Method)
- I think this asteroid is dead or should I harpoon it one more time
- After several failed launches, stability tweaks and failed landings: I finally landed my first mobile base. Then I went over a large crater, fell and destroyed 2 of my wheels. Oh yeah, and I forgot to quicksave
- The sunrise reflection off the shiny Dragon spacecraft.
- Trust me, I'm an engineer
- Why do I get the most horrific failures?
- Finally managed to get this beast of a Minmus base here in 1 launch.
- I found a very weird gliotch that happens when kerbals pick up stones that they're standing on
- Seriously?

Posted: 27 Dec 2020 11:37 AM PST Landing legs are probably the number one source of kraken attacks and general misery from surface outposts. And yet I still see them deployed in just about every outpost - post. I initially made the mistake, and I'm sure most other players do, of thinking that landing legs are just the standard interface between my vessel and the ground. I thought that the belly of my hull would get scratched up by the surface or something. Every time my base station got loaded by physics, it would bounce around wildly and I'd think, "thank goodness for those landing legs... otherwise this thing would be in pieces!" The truth, however, is that if you retract the landing legs and just let the whole thing sit on the ground, it never moves. Not even a little bit. You can dock to it, you can time warp, you can switch focus, and it stays steady as a rock through everything. So for the sake of preserving your hard work and saving yourself some headaches, please - retract those legs! [link] [comments] | ||
